I’m Back! We all took a week off and headed to Seattle! Jules had to work so we rode along and enjoyed relaxing in the hotel, a lot, and exploring downtown Seattle. I didn’t take very many pictures, did I mention we relaxed a lot!?
Now we are back to reality and kicking it in gear to get ready for Spring! The weather has been so beautiful and we love having our windows and doors open all day long.
With Easter a week and a half away, I thought I would share Jax and Mia’s Easter baskets! I usually try to keep it simple and stick to the same sort of things each year!
I’m all about getting the spring necessities in there! Every year I get the cute cups with straws, perfect for all the smoothies we drink, and a fun plate! Usually I just get the spring plates that the Target dollar section has, but this year I got something more specific to each kid!
The cups last us the whole year, and I put them through the dishwasher! I get them at Target and they are around $2, I think! The plates are also from Target!
Now that we have the eating and drinking covered, I like to always have some sort of book in there! Jax is obsessed with Blaze and the Monster Machines, so when I saw this activity book on clearance, for a $1, at Target I knew I had to get it! As for Mia we went with the Trolls book! Bonus, we can add it to our Golden Book collection!!
Next I like to add some clothing in there! With swimming season right around the corner, what better time to add a new swimming suit to the closet!? There are always super cute new prints and colors out right now too. Jax’s suit is old, I’m still hunting for a new one! Mia’s suit is from Gap Factory.
This year I added a hat for each of them. We are always headed out the door and playing outside so I thought this would be perfect! I found both of their hats at TJ Maxx! I think they were $4 each!!
The last thing I always throw in are my FAVORITE spring/summer shoes!!! The Native Shoes are amazing. My kiddos where them every single day from the time they get them until the weather is to cold!! They are waterproof, and super easy to slip on and off. Their tiny little feet don’t sweat and they don’t get any blisters!! I think these are the two colors I am going to order!
You can get them at Nordstrom as well as Amazon.
Holidays with kids are so much fun! I love to watch them grow every year and experience all the memories with them! We can’t wait to dye eggs and jump right into Easter next week!!
XO,
Corrine Monique
