I did it! I finally put together a video of how I do my lashes! So like I said before, I really credit my lashes to the Rodan & Fields Lash Boost. After I had lash extensions for only a short time, I felt like my lashes were totally different! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved my extensions, and if you are in the market for them contact my girl Cassie at Lashes By Cass. She does amazing work and is just the sweetest! I was not able to carve out the time to maintain my extensions with Jules being gone all the time. Once I sadly ended my extensions, I really wanted something to help me get that growth and strength back! I finally pulled the trigger and got the Lash Boost.
So here is the deal… The price seems super intimidating, but it’s not! I was able to use the same tube for 3 months! For me it totally justifies the price! Well aside from the amazing results. It is super simple to use. I just apply it to my lash line right before bed and that’s it. For the first 2 months I applied every night, and now I apply every other night. I have never had any irritation or issues with using the Lash Boost, and honestly I recommend it to everyone!!! If you are interested in purchasing it, let me know and I can point you in the right direction!
*disclaimer: I do not sell Rodan & Fields products, and all of the info I just went over is purely my own opinion. But really it’s that good!
Okay on to my everyday lash routine. I always apply my mascara very last in my makeup routine. I use three products total, including my Tarte Lash Curler. I used to use a cheap drugstore curler and i just felt like my curl never lasted all day long. I switched to this curler years ago and it has been amazing! I get a great curl every single time and the curl lasts all day long! My curler has lasted me going on three years, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. The first step is curling my lashes before I apply any other product.
Next I apply my primer. I never used a primer until recently, like the last year or so. I absolutely love this Lancome Mascara Primer and it really does make a difference in my lashes. A little goes a long way, remember that. I am still using the same tube I purchased a year ago. After I curl my lashes I apply the Lancome Mascara Primer to my entire lash. I really like to make sure I coat the tips of my lashes to ensure I get an even coverage of mascara next. After I have applied the primer to both sets of lashes, I like to let the primer dry for about 15-30 seconds, so it’s not so sticky.
Now it’s time to apply the mascara. If you follow along with me on Instagram, you probably know how much I love my Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara in blackest black. It is under $10 and works better than any of the expensive brands I have used! I absolutely love this stuff! When I apply the Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara I start at the bottom of my lashes and make sure I get the base coated really well. Then I work my way up to the tip making sure I coat the entire lash. As you will see in my video, I like to go back over the top side of my lashes so that I get the mascara on the entire lash. I feel like this step really helps with the length.
That’s it! My lashes last all day long without any flaking or color transfer on my eyelids. This is my tried and true process and I don’t see any change anytime soon! I hope this answers all of your questions you may have about the process, if not please feel free to ask me anything!
Here’s to great lash days!
XO,
Corrine Monique
