This last week has just flown by! Every single day was filled with something, and I am now feeling all the sleepiness I was waiting for…
Amongst all the business we had such a special week and Easter weekend! My freshman year of High School we hosted a foreign exchange student from Germany. What we didn’t realize is that she would become our life long sister!! Laura has since visited, now 4 times! This last visit was a complete surprise to my mom and dad and it was the best moment seeing their utter shock!
From the time she touched down in Boise, until the time she flew away we had our schedule jam packed! It was such a blessing having her here with us on Easter!! The kids loved getting to know her and spend every second with their “Auntie Laura”! We got to dye eggs and enjoy the sunshine while the kiddos hunted them!
Mia was super particular about where she placed each egg in her basket!
Then the fun part! Finding all the fun surprises!
Oh I adore this sweet family of mine so much! We loved having Jules home for the weekend, and of course Jax and Mia couldn’t get enough!
We tried to get a nice family picture with all of us looking, but I am learning that these candid moments with all the raw emotion in them are my favorite!!!
Grammy and Papa could not wait to celebrate Easter with their sweet Grand kids! I think the feeling went both ways!!!
Bentley Boy had a sweet treat in his mouth the entire time, and it was adorable!! He loved all the chocolate he found in his eggs and he even loved the real eggs!
After the egg hunt was over and all the dinner was eaten Mia and Bentley took a couple rides in Papa’s car!! This is Mia’s favorite thing to do!
Bentley thought it was pretty great too!!
After such a fun weekend with all of our loved ones, we said our goodbyes and Laura went back to England 😢
It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later and I sure can’t wait to see our Laura again!
XO,
Corrine Monique
