Good morning friends!! How is the 4th of July already a week away!? I am super excited, well because its the 4th of July!! One of my favorite holidays of the year! Last year we spent the 4th in San Clemente, you can read all about one of my favorite little towns HERE! It was magical and I absolutely loved being in California, on the beach, for the 4th! We will be in California again this year, preferably on a beach, but we haven’t made plans just yet. In preparation, I am planning all of our festive outfits!!
What is your 4th of July style?
Do you go for a dress, or wear shorts and a sweatshirt to enjoy some fireworks??
I am always grabbing our comfiest red, white, and blue pieces to run around for the day. Whether we are on the beach or at a bbq, I love all the red, white, and blue! Today I am going to talk outfits for the whole family! I usually can get Jules to where a blue shirt too!
Let’s start with the kids! I am always finding the cutest stuff at Old Navy. I can always find the most darling dresses for Mia, and the best shorts and tops for Jax. One of my favorite things to do is shop the boys section for Mia! This year I found her adorable USA Sweatshirt in the toddler boys section + it’s currently on sale! I sized up one size for a more over sized fit for Mia and I’m hoping we will get an extra year out of it! Her leggings are from last year but I found these adorable Ice Cream Cone Leggings! Both my kids are usually wearing their Native Jefferson Shoes and I’m thinking they might need a 4th of July pair! Mia’s sandals are from Target and you can get them HERE!
Jules thinks I’m a little silly when I try and plan all of our outfits for holidays. Some needs to do it right. His summer wardrobe consists of cargo shorts, a polo, and flip flops. Super easy! Like so easy that there really isn’t much more to say about it. I will link all of his favorites below!
Okay we made it to the fun part! My outfit! I still like to keep things simple but it is so much fun to accessorize and go all out with the red, white, and blue!! Much like the kiddos, I love finding 4th of July items from Old Navy! Last year I got one of my favorite sweatshirts in the Men’s department. This year I grabbed another one and I’m still just as obsessed! I like to go up one size to have an over sized look, but really I think the men’s sizes run true to the women’s sizes. I am always finding the cutest blue and white stripes + add a pair of red earrings and you are set!
We are one week away so get those outfits ordered so you are all set for the Fourth of July!! I can’t wait to celebrate in style!!
XO,
Corrine Monique
