It’s sale time!! Where are all my beauty lovers at!? It’s no surprise that there are a ton of sales happening every single day. Makeup and skincare is usually last on the list, so I am so excited to stock up on some goods! My entire look you see here today (minus the Tarte Shape Tape ) is on sale!! Along with the products I used to create this look, I am adding more of my favorites from the sale!
You can get 20% off at Sephora using the code VIBBONUS. You have to be a VIB Insider, but don’t worry there is a sale coming for the rest of you! The Sale lasts from Friday November 9th to Monday November 12th.
Foundation:
I have gotten multiple questions about what foundation I use. I love that I love the foundation I use. It is amazing, affordable, and I pretty sure I will use it forever. I use the Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Foundation in the color Pebble. I talk about this in my video, but I love this foundation because it is buildable without feeling cakey. You can use as little or as much as you want to get the coverage you need. My skin is more on the oily side. This foundation does not make my face oily at all!! I have also used it when my skin was dry, that Idaho life, and I loved it just as much then! To apply it I simply use my finger to place the foundation on my face and then I use my favorite brush, Heavenly Skin Perfecting Brush , to blend the foundation in. Love this combo!
Next I use my tried and true Tarte Shape Tape in the color Light. I swear by this stuff! It stays on all day long. Through sweat and water and all the climates, this stuff stays put! I love that it brightens my under eyes and I don’t have to worry about the darkness being exposed at all! I love the product application. The wand makes it super easy to put the product in the exact place you want. Once I have applied the concealer to my face I use my sponge/Beautyblender (damp) to blend it out.
The last step for my foundation process is my favorite finishing powder. I have always loved using a pressed powder over the top of my liquid foundation to blend everything in and give my face more of a matte finish. I recently started using this IT Cosmetics Airbrush Perfecting Powder and I love it. It is breathable and finished and blends perfectly. I apply this with the largest brush from my Sonia Kashuk Brush Set.
Contour & Highlight:
The rest of the steps are pretty quick and easy! I use my new Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and it has been great! When I contour I try and go by the “3” rule. I make a three on the side of my face, putting the pigment on my forehead, under my cheek bones, and then on my jaw line. I explain in the video! I love the highlighter in this kit. It is subtle and beautiful!
Blush. I haven’t purchased a new blush in who knows how long. I love the one I have so I haven’t gotten another on. The Bobbi Brown Blush in the color Sand Pink is such a great blush. The color stays all day long. A little goes a long way, hence why I haven’t gotten anything new!
Brows:
My brows are naturally full, but I love to shape them and make them look less patchy. I absolutely love my Lancome Sourcils Waterproof Eyebrow Gel-Cream, in the color Chatain. I apply this with my favorite Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Large Synthetic Duo Brow Brush. It is so easy to work with and the final result looks super natural, just the way I like it! A little goes a long way so it will last forever!
Eye Shadow:
Like I said in the video, my pallet is old from last year. I love it and will probably never buy another pallet! I love Tarte Eyeshadow and this years holiday pallets are really good! This pallet HERE is super similar to the one I use. I am going to list the names of the shadow I used with the similar color from this year. I hope that helps!! Of course if you have similar colors at home use those!!
1. Pendant (or Rooftop). This color I applied to my entire lid, to give it a nice bright base.
2. Starry ( Palm or Starfruit). I applied this color to the upper crease.
3. Majestic & Gems ( or Mango & Samba). I originally started with the lighter color and wasn’t getting the color I wanted so I went back in with the darker color in my crease from the middle to the outer edge.
4. Fringe ( Jetski). This deeper almost red color I used for the outer V on my lid.
5. Genie ( Lei). This is the last color and I used it on the lash line and then up just a little in a v shape.
Lashes:
I have actually done a lash tutorial before, and you can see my Everyday Lash Tutorial Here. In today’s look I used three products.
3. Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara
Lips:
Today I used one of my favorite pink/nude colors. MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick.
I am in love with how this look turned out!! The warm tones + a little bit of drama are perfect for all those Holiday events coming up!! I hope you enjoyed! What look do you want to see next??
